Partnership with DB4N and other Parties

1. Partnership Between Two Parties (Manang Project)
The partnership between Ghyalsumdo Sewa Santha (GSS) and Digital Bridges 4 Nepal (DB4N) is founded on a shared commitment to reducing technological and educational disparities in rural Nepal. What makes this collaboration particularly meaningful is that it represents the CLEC (Collaborative Learning Environment Center) project co-incepted directly with a local community. GSS, under the leadership of President Nyima Lhamo and with the initiative of Past President Rapke Lama, played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and driving the project forward. Their deep-rooted desire to give back to their homeland in Nason aligned seamlessly with DB4N's mission. This shared vision led to the successful establishment of CLEC Thonche in Nason Rural Municipality, Manang—a truly community-driven initiative. |

About Local Bodies
Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality covers an area of 101.34 square kilometers and has a total population of approximately 22,033. It is divided into 8 wards, with Tandrang located in Ward No. 2, home to around 2,200 residents. Following the restructuring of local governance under Nepal’s 2015 Constitution, the government began implementing a decentralized system in 2072 BS (2017 AD), allowing rural municipalities to allocate resources and make decisions tailored to local needs. In line with this framework, Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality has prioritized initiatives in education, environmental awareness, and the promotion of modern digital tools. Lok Prasad Banjara, mayor of Bhimsenthapa Rural Municipality, as a commitment, provided financial support to the Shree Siddhakali Secondary school for carpeting and painting the room designated for the Collaborative Learning Environment Center (CLEC). |

5. Partnership Between Two Parties ( BTRM + 3 Schools)
After the successful installation of the Collaborative Learning Environment Center (CLEC) at Shree Siddhakali Secondary School, the mayor was deeply impressed by the innovative design and the concept of fostering collaboration within the room, the school, and the broader community. Inspired by the transformative potential of the CLEC, he personally requested our founder, Mr. Edmond Antoine, to establish a similar facility in the new administrative building of the Rural Municipality. With the collaboration with Bhimsenthapa Rural Municipality, we recently installed 3 new CLECs in Shree Bindrawati Secondary School, Shree Shanti Secondary School, and Shree Saraswati Secondary School. |
