A CLEC is a specially designed classroom and pedagogical approach that combines internet-based computer learning with peer-to-peer and group collaborative learning. To install a CLEC, we provide IT equipment, specially designed furniture that facilitates collaboration, and pedagogical coaching to teachers. Our goal is to improve the education of Nepal’s youth and increase their opportunities for success, thereby strengthening local communities, and making them more resilient and better able to sustain their culture and way of life.

As of 2024,

814 students have used internet-based learning and been taught using peer & group collaborative approaches in CLECs
203 students have been enrolled into CLECs for 2020-2023
53 + Teachers have been trained in using the CLEC approach since 2019-2024
7 teachers from different districts have graduated from the CLEC short course at KUSOED.
CLEC students have had a 100% success rate in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) exams at Sotang Public Campus
