Thomas Vandenabeele

Thomas P. Vandenabeele is a New York–based attorney specializing in international commercial litigation and cross-border disputes. Born and raised in France, he represents individuals and companies, including numerous French entities, in complex legal matters in the United States. He is also the co-founder and President of the French American Bar Association and serves as General Counsel to the French Consulate General in New York.

Thomas’s connection to Nepal became deeply personal during the 2024 Donor's Journey. What stayed with him most was not only the breathtaking beauty of the country, but the extraordinary warmth, generosity, and kindness of the Nepalese people who welcomed him so openly. He was deeply moved by the richness of the culture and the strong sense of community he encountered throughout the journey. At the same time, seeing firsthand the work of DB4N gave real meaning to those experiences. Witnessing how access to technology and education creates tangible opportunities for students and teachers in remote communities left a lasting impression on him.
