Baikuntha Chaulagai MD
Baikuntha is from Nepal, where he became a doctor and spent 2 years serving patients in Nepal. He was involved in multiple social service organizations while in Nepal. He came to the USA to pursue further his medical career and completed his Internal Medicine residency in Brooklyn, New York and currently practicing medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. While pursuing his professional medical career in Baltimore in the US, he wanted to connect with the local Nepali population to continue service to Nepal. He found Digital Bridges 4 Nepal to be ethical, honest, transparent, and simply of service to his native country. He is working as a bridge between the Nepali community of Baltimore and DB4N while looking for ways to construct new projects in Nepal. He is also a member of the Nepali Lions Club of Baltimore. He met Edmond (Founder) as one of his first patients in New York and they bonded quickly traveling together to the rural village of Sotang to explore the first possibility to create a Computer Learning Environment Center there.
He is married to his wife, Sangam. They both advocate Vegan and Vegetarian diets and enjoy cooking and gardening besides social services and taking care of their patients. Baikuntha wants to bring a refreshing holistic look to life and his practice. He wants to be a part of digital bridges 4 Nepal to contribute further to society.
