HELP CREATE A COMPUTER LEARNING ENVIRONMENT CENTER FOR THE PEOPLE OF NEPAL AT KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY
our Goal is to raise $4000 in the next 6 weeks so we can fully fund the installation we need to start in April 2020 at Kathmandu University (KU). This is a stepping stone for us to be able to then open up these centers of higher education in remote areas of Nepal. This will support the integration of Information and communication technology (ICT) by the future primary and secondary school teachers and school administrators. They will gain mastery in incorporating ICTin their daily courses, presentations and grading. WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT? Kathmandu University is known in Nepal for its uncompromising quality in its education, and for its vision to transform education, This learning environment designed with AO will help the educators grow to their full potential by putting valuable information at their fingertips in a way that was previously not possible Our vision is to bridge the increasing technological gaps that reinforce economic division in developing economies. Our plan is to deliver 100 Computer Learning Environment Centers (CLEC) across remote areas over the next 10 years. WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL SUPPORT Your donation will provide the necessary furniture, computer equipment, and an AO appointed CLEC champion to help with initial pedagogical elements. |
