Welcome to the second quarterly e-newsletter from Altruistic Odyssey!
We’re very excited to bring you news and updates on what is in the works and what is being completed in Nepal with the help of Altruistic Odyssey.
Bear Mountain and Sugarloaf Mountain Hikes
We are pleased to announce that both of our hikes in Maryland and New York were great successes! In total, there were more than 70 people that took part in the Bear Mountain and Sugarloaf Mountain hikes! It was an excellent hike along with a great group of individuals that made the experience unforgettable. With everyone’s combined efforts, we were able to raise over $2,700! 100% of this donation will go towards preparing primary school teachers for modern education (which you can read more about below).
We wanted to thank everyone for their support and participation in the hikes, as well as for the funds that will go towards helping build a new computer room at the Sotang Public school and to help prepare primary school teachers on using modern education in a remote area in Nepal. We here at Altruistic Odyssey cannot thank everyone that helps us enough.
New Altruistic Odyssey website!
As you can see, Altruistic Odyssey’s website recently received a MASSIVE makeover and it’s looking better than ever. It’s now much easier to find information about AO, any projects that are currently being funded and worked on, news pertaining to AO, as well as any upcoming events. The new website has allowed AO to streamline the website and make it easier for our supporters, both current and potential, to navigate the website much easier.
