400,000 Nepalis Vaccinated
Over 400,000 Nepalis vaccinated against with the Covid-19 vaccine under the first phase of the vaccination phase, Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population said.
The first phase of the vaccination began on January 27 and ended Monday (2/22). Health workers, sanitization workers, journalists and staff in the diplomatic missions were vaccinated in the first phase. As many as 1.4% of the 30 million population were vaccinated in the first phase.

"We aim to inoculate first doses of vaccine to 3.7 million people aged above 55 years in the second phase," said Upreti. "During this vaccination drive, we hope to get additional vaccine doses from different sources."

Plans for the 2021 Year
Altruistic Odyssey has some super exciting plans for the 2021 year. Edmond Antoine, AO President, has plans to visit Nepal in October and November, specifically the district of Manang, where he will be visiting the Thonche High School.

Our long term plan is now ready to launch, and we can make a difference for the hundreds of students and communities that are in remote areas of Nepal and have no way to get a modern education.  

Our success has increased the demand in those remote communities we serve and that’s why I am asking for your support to help fulfill our commitment to those in need.
