AO is on a roll!
Creating upward movement!

We made excellent progresses in the month of October and so far this November. The team here in the US was able to fundraise what was needed to execute our 3rd CLEC (Computer Learning Environment Center). Our team in Nepal was able to visit the Nason Rural Municipality and Thonche High School to complete a feasibility study of that same CLEC for delivery this December. They came back with a “good to go” !

Re-engaging projects when challenges occur and adapting to the situation is what we call “Resilient Delivery”! When we installed our flagship CLEC at Kathmandu University in August 2020, we felt that by this time, things would be back to normal despite the pandemic. Well, they are not for many of us in the world. The pandemic is here to stay at least for a while longer (with its unfortunate resilient new variants as well).

Happy Summer! Let's Hike And Sketch!

Happy Summer, everyone! And do you know what summer means? It's time to get outside!

Come Join us June 19th at Bear Mountain, New York for a fun, summer day outside, taking in nature on a gorgeous nature hike while also integrating nature and landscape painting and artwork!

All proceeds and donations from the hike will go towards creating a new Computer Learning Environment Center in Nasong, Nepal.

400,000 Nepalis Vaccinated
Over 400,000 Nepalis vaccinated against with the Covid-19 vaccine under the first phase of the vaccination phase, Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population said.
The first phase of the vaccination began on January 27 and ended Monday (2/22). Health workers, sanitization workers, journalists and staff in the diplomatic missions were vaccinated in the first phase. As many as 1.4% of the 30 million population were vaccinated in the first phase.

"We aim to inoculate first doses of vaccine to 3.7 million people aged above 55 years in the second phase," said Upreti. "During this vaccination drive, we hope to get additional vaccine doses from different sources."

INSTALLATION OF OUR CLEC @Kathmandu University COMPLETED!

We've just completed our installation, and have adapted our Computer Learning Environment Center (C.L.E.C) with Kathmandu University School of Education in Nepal. Our next major step forward for AO is to now establish 7 C.L.E.C in remote areas of Nepal. Our program calls for 2 possibly 3 Centers in 2021. We already have 3 remote high schools and one remote college that will put an application through. Continuous congratulations to the AO US & Nepali team for making this happen!

MOU Signed with Kathmandu University

We've just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kathmandu University School of Education in Nepal. This is a major step forward for AO as we work towards establishing a modern Computer Learning Environment Center (CLEC) for the University and its students. Special congratulations to the AO US & Nepali team for making this happen!
